Woodloch Springs Course Guide: Hole 1
At 384 yards, hole one is the first of 4 par 4s on the outward 9. Upon tee off you will find the fairway slanting slightly left, a shot played to the right may end up in one the two bunkers lining the fairway. If a slice occurs the bunkers do not catch it, you could find yourself with a blind shot from the edge of the woods. Once on the fairway you will find yourself hitting an upward iron shot onto the green for a birdie putt. The green is protected by 3 bunkers, two short and forward and one long and back. Hole one is home to one of the more narrow greens on the course, precision shots on to the putting surface are key for a successful par.
