Charitable Initiatives
Woodloch is a proud partner of these organizations – each of which are near to our hearts and align with our company values.
BK Hope Cures
BK Hope Cures was conceived in 1999 when our very own, Bob Kiesendahl, was fighting cancer. The goal has been and continues to be to create hope for others who are affected by cancer through charity events to fundraise throughout the year.
We invite you to attend one of our event throughout the year:
- BK5K in June at Woodloch
- BK Golf Classic at Woodloch Springs
- BK Hope Cures Tricky Tray: A Night for the Cure
For Pete’s Sake
For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation enables cancer patients and their loved ones to strengthen, deepen and unify their relationships by creating unforgettable and lasting respite experiences. Woodloch is honored to be able to provide the opportunity for families to come together for these experiences.
The FPS $25 million Respite Transformed Campaign will culminate in the construction of the For Pete’s Sake Respite Center at Woodloch; this center will transform cancer care in the Northeast region and offer transformational respite experiences in the most scalable, sustainable, effective, and efficient way possible.
Folds of Honor
Folds of Honor provides life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military, and America’s first responders. Woodloch is also an official Destination Partner of Folds of Honor.
Woodloch Springs hosts an annual Golf Classic to raise money for a local hero, fallen or wounded. All gave some, some gave all. Freedom isn’t free.
Delaware Highland Conservancy
With every reservation, guests of Woodloch contribute directly to the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. Supporting the protections of our lands, waters, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
Each bill paid during check out at Woodloch includes a $3 donation to the Delaware Highland Conservancy to help preserve the area we all love, live, and celebrate in.
