We’ve hand-selected over a dozen of New York City’s finest comedians to perform weekly here at Woodloch Resort. Many performers have made appearances on Comedy Central, sitcoms, late-night television, and “America’s Got Talent.” Emmy-winning, New York City-born comedian Milton Berle once said that “laughter is an instant vacation.” Berle was a smart man! Woodloch Resort is one of the only kid-friendly resorts in North America to provide live comedic acts.
Woodloch Resort hosts a yearly revue called the Theme Show, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with the “Diamond Jubilee.” Some of the previous theme shows have been “Emmy Night,” “Back to the 80s,” and “Camelot,” and these past favorites are incorporated into the current show. The Diamond Jubilee commemorates our 60th year with live covers of James Brown, Bruno Mars, The Andrews Sisters, and many more! The live performances will feature songs that span over six decades.

Jump start your upcoming Poconos weekend getaway by getting the family involved in the Woodloch Kids Club. The Kids Club is exclusively for children 10 and under, but anyone can join the fun. Woodloch Resort is a family-run, family-first destination, so we strongly encourage parents to participate alongside their kids in these supervised activities. Your little ones can get active with kickball, ring toss, hopscotch, and bowling or get creative with a variety of arts and crafts. Time is a funny thing. Passage of it has never been consistent, at least to me. Sometimes, I would watch the second hand of the clock crawl almost to a halt as I would be counting away the minutes until my weekend would start. But more often than not, the opposite is true: time goes by way too fast, and the next thing you know the years are in your rearview mirror.
Perhaps this is shown most prevalently through the growth of our children. One minute it seems they are running wildly around without a care in the world, and the next they are calling you from college to say how much they miss you… and that they need to be spotted a few dollars. We can all agree that no matter how much time you may think you may have with your kids, it will go by quickly and unfortunately be over with before you know it. That’s just a fact of life that there isn’t any getting around.
However, here at Woodloch, we are memory makers: a producer of durable memories and industrial strength bonding agents. We pride ourselves in not only offering a plethora of activities to make children happy but to also include parents in on the fun- here, we give you the opportunity to have FUN with your kids!
