9 Things to Do on a Poconos Family Vacation
- Come together to see if you can beat other teams during Bakery Wars. You’ll be given supplies and a budget for more items that you’ll use to decorate cakes and other baked goods according to a specific theme.
- If the water is nice, head out on Lake Teedyuskung on one of our rowboats or paddleboats. Life jackets are required, and guests must be at least 13 to go alone.
- Say hello to the animals that call our petting zoo home. Get an up-close look at fuzzy critters like baby cows, lambs, rabbits, and sheep. There are also pony rides available.
- Let your kids blow off some steam at our indoor and outdoor kiddie pools. These spots were designed with our youngest guests in mind and include waterslides, wading pools, and squirt cannons.
- See if you can solve the puzzles and riddles to get out of the escape room before time runs out. While there is no age restriction, this activity is recommended for kids 11 and up.
- Check out our lineup of incredible entertainment. With everything from theme shows to live music to children’s entertainment, we offer a little bit of everything.
- Another fun way to see animals up close is at the Claws ‘N’ Paws Wild Animal Park. Open seasonally, this attraction in Lake Ariel is home to over 120 exotic and rare animal species.
- Explore the beauty of Pennsylvania on an outing with the Pennsylvania Rail Trail. This electric railbike takes you along the Lackawaxen River and can last either 10 or 20 miles.
- Embark on a memorable day trip. Go hiking in Promised Land State Park or the Lacawac Sanctuary Field Station and Environmental Education Center. Head to Scranton to tour the Steamtown National Historic Site.
