What to Know About 4 Local Markets
Pennsylvania farmers’ markets are fantastic seasonal attractions that showcase local growers and makers. Find everything you need to enjoy the perfect picnic lunch back at our Poconos resort or fill up your backpack with goodies to enjoy on your adventures.
- On Saturdays, the Wayne County Farmers Market is held on Commercial Street in Honesdale. The market runs from Memorial Day through October and features a selection of seasonal products, including baked goods, produce, and locally made household items.
- Hawley Farmers Market has both an indoor and outdoor season. The outdoor market takes place in Bingham Park on Fridays from May through October, and the indoor market starts in November at the Hawley Hub.
- Running from mid-May through October, the Barryville Farmers Market is found just across state lines in New York. Not only can you shop vendors like barkeries, farms, and more, but the Saturday market also has live music and cooking demos.
- There’s also the Main Street Farmers Market at The Cooperage on Saturdays from November through April. Taking place in Honesdale, the weekly market gives you a chance to stock up on fresh eggs, produce, meats, honey, and unique regional items.
